AERA Rural Education SIG Call for Proposals Invite 2012
Dear Rural Educators,
On behalf of the Rural Education SIG, I'd like to invite you to submit proposals for the 2012 Annual Meeting of the American Educational Research Association, to be held April 13-18 in Vancouver, BC. The Rural Education SIG welcomes submissions concerning any aspect of education that is situated in rural contexts.
The number of paper sessions allotted to each SIG is based on the number of submissions it receives, so please consider submitting to the Rural Education SIG. In order to become a member of the Rural Education SIG, one must be a member of AERA. You can join the Rural SIG at the same time that you renew or begin your AERA membership. AERA has implemented a new membership database and management system. The internet component provides full e-commerce so that members may renew and/or join at any time online.
The deadline for submissions is July 22. To submit a proposal, log in at http://www.aera.net and select "SIG: Rural Education."
We also encourage you to volunteer to be a chair or discussant for Rural Education SIG sessions. To volunteer, log in at http://www.aera.net by August 31.
We look forward to receiving your submissions! Please share this information with other interested colleagues.
Best,
Kim
