Missouri Association of Rural Educators
Submission Deadline: June 15, 2010
You are invited to submit a proposal to the National Rural Education (NREA) Research Symposium to be held on October 15-17, 2010, at the Chalet on the Lake in Branson, Missouri, in conjunction with the 102nd Annual NREA Convention. We are seeking proposals involving research relevant to any aspect of PK-12 education in rural settings.
This invitation is extended to you in an effort to assemble outstanding rural education researchers in a forum devoted solely to research related to rural education issues. The NREA Research Symposium is a premier event of the NREA Convention.

Proposals will be peer reviewed based on relevance to PK-12 rural education and adherence to the proposal outline. Presenters who submit full research papers by September 24, 2010, will be considered for the Howard A. Dawson Best Research Paper Award, which carries a $500.00 award.
Registration for the NREA Research Symposium is $295, which provides admission to both the Research Symposium and the NREA Convention.
